Study of Underwater Multi-target Localization Based on Temporal Filtering Technique

A novel method of underwater multi-target localization based on temporal filtering technique was proposed.For multi-target echo signal could be divided in time space,a temporal filtering based on matching filtering technique was designed to filter the echo signal.With this approach,the disturbing noise of other targets was suppressed and the signal-to-noise ratio was improved.The statistical simulation results under various conditions were given,which show the improvement in robustness and resolution as well as the high performance in precision.
