Shot Similarity Measurement in Content-based Retrieval

The most commonly used method for content-based video retrieval is query by example, so the video similarity measurement becomes a basal problem. We propose a shot signature approach based on the video signature approach. In order to increase the veracity of matching, we attach a weight to each shot signature which can represent the importance of each frame. We also resolve the problem of contradictory order.
