The Study of Technologies for Improving TCP Performance in Wireless Networks

The integration of Internet and the mobile communications is a trend of the future development in communication field, and as the standard of transport layer protocols in Internet, TCP will still be important in future wireless networks. However, TCP is designed for Internet, and the performance of which is not well in wireless networks. So, it is necessary to improve the performance of TCP. This paper introduces the technologies for improving TCP performance, and then analyzes ELN protocol.
