The Structure of the Lattices of (Left,Right) Ideals

In this paper, we study the structure of the lattices of (left, right) ideals of a ring using the techniques of cut sets and nested sets. We prove that the lattices of (left, right) ideals of a ring are modular, and give the structure of the sup H~∨K~ in these lattices.
