Interface implement of TMS320C6701 to SDRAM

The digital signal processor(DSP) of TMS320C6x of TI is simple to use compared to previous generations of TI DSPs in reason of a EMIF,which can be used as a non-slot interface to various external memory device.This paper introduces a method using EMIF to realize SDRAM(MT48LC4M16A2 of MICRON)interface with DSP[TMS320C670],including configurations 、control register、the Period calculation for SDRAM refresh period,and the software flow chart.It is showed that this is a good solution because of SDRAM's higher speed and bigger capability.
