Technical Characteristics and Application of Automatic Measuring & Forecasting system for Water Regime in Fuyang

Since its construction in 2001, Fuyang hydrological information sub-center of Anhui province has lead an important role in flood control. Technical characteristics in four aspects of information acquisition monitoring and control system, data communication protocol, short message transmission technology, information management software of the automatic measuring and forecasting system for water regime of the sub-center are described. Its operational effects are also analyzed. Its operation has shown that system's construction is in accord with the development trend of modern hydrology.
