Analysis of Oracle Log Files Using LogMiner Application

LogMiner application is usually used to analyze log files of Oracle 8i database. By using LogMiner, pigeonhole log files can be easily picked up from Oracle database, the SQL sentences of redo return can be got, and the transaction of can be upgrade database also audited. This paper is based on the example of Hospital Information System. The LogMiner application not only is used to analyze the log files of Oracle database, also to perform the transaction auditions and rollback operations.
