The Synthesis of Acrylic Acid /MBAM System by Direct Co-Poly Saponification

By polymerization, one high water retaining polymer was synthesized in the presence of the system which takes acrylic acid and N,N-methylene bisacrylamide as main materials. The water retaining capacities of the product is reached to the times by 750%～1 000%.The product has a best capacity of refaining water below the temperature 28 ℃.The process of the technology and other factors influencing water retaining are also studied.
