A New Signal Recognition and Signature Code Acquisition (SR/CA) Method for DSSS Communication

Based the fact that the best detection probability and false alarm probability can not be achieved simultaneously with existed signal recognition and signature code acquisition (SR/CA) method,a novel method called Soft SR/CA is presented,which adopts double decision thresholds and automatic frequency control loop.Numerical simulation results show that soft SR/CA method provides better detection performance,while the false alarm probability remains low.
