Application and implementation of bluetooth technology in portable ECG monitors

This paper presented the concept and principle of bluetooth technology.Its application and implementation of a bluetooth communication interface in portable ECG monitor was demonstrated.First,the features of Bluetooth and its application perspective in medical field were introduced.Then,using the actual development of a portable wireless ECG detector as application background,a feasible solution was proposed for the system and a whole system architecture.The working flowchart for the design was demonstrated.The system accomplishes the design of hardware interface circuit and the communication software based on SMC ATmega128 and Bluetooth module.It is proved that the system achieves good application effect in portable ECG monitors.
