Accessing Long Binary Type Data of Database by MFC in Visual C

Large object data(graphic file, sound file and large text file etc.) can be stored in binary type (such as image type in SQL Server,LONG RAW type in Oracle etc.)fields of database in form of long binary stream.This paper introduces a simple and efficient method to link database by MFC ODBC and process Long Binary Type Data using MFC's CLongBinary and MFC's CFile in Visual C++.The principle and technical characteristics are described,and an example is given to show how to import image type data into SQL Server by this method.
