More human identification and surveillance means in the image processing,pattern recognition,computer vision,and other technology-based,to identify and monitor the crowd of a regional.In this paper,from the development of digital image processing technology and current status of research at home and abroad,the main method of human identification technology in the use of image segmentation,processing and eigenvalue extraction was be concluded.In final,the existing problems of more human surveillance and the development of technical direction were discussed.
