To solve the problem of low contrast and noise-blurred image,a new image enhancement approach combined with characteristics of human visual consciousness is proposed in this paper.First,a median filter is used to suppress noise in spatial domain, then the image is separated to estimate the brightness of background and the data is smoothed by linearity interpolation,at last, the image is enhanced by adjusting the image to be well-distributed and the pixels to the global grey value.Experiment results show that, this approach can obviously improve the global contrast of image and reduce noise simultaneously,it also highlight the detail information of the target in the image, thus effectively enhances vision effect.
