The secondhand newsprint machine from HAINDL, Germany, was low in operating efficiency, poor in product quality and aged in instrument and automatic system. Through the technical renovation and function optimization on the press rolls, steam spray box, forming board, moisture returning device and control system, the machine velocity is raised by 30 - 40m / min, the annual capacity is increased by 20%, the rate of utilization of equipment is increased by 8% and the formation and the uniformity in cross direction are remarkably improved.
