Software Method of CRC in Safety Data Transmission in Signal System of Urban Mass Transit

Cyclic Redundancy Check (CRC) code and the principle of error checking/correction commonly used for safe information transmission in urban mass transit are analyzed. The principles for selecting polynomial under situations of single bit error, two isolated bit error, odd bit error and burst errors are presented. On this basis, the checking table algorithm and software realization are presented in detail. The purpose of saving the processing time is attained with the method of reducing the computational complexity in this algorithm.
