A Multi-agent based Integrated Transport Information Platform

The Integrated Transport Information Platform (ITIP) is the basic of integration of Intelligent Transport System(ITS).After analyzing the significance and functions of ITIP and the Multiagent system(MAS) technology,this paper presents the distributed ITIP system architecture based on the MAS,mainly including User Interface Agent(UIA),Information Awareness Agent(IAA) and Task Process Agent(TPA).Then the main functions and architecture of each kind Agent is analyzed in detail.Finally,the advantage and the development are discussed.
