With the development of economic,all kinds of contracts and certificates are increasingly used,whichl eads the importance of stamp pad ink identification.So far there have been some tests on stamp pad ink,but mosta re destructive tests.So it is very necessary to find a simple and rapid and nondestructive identification of stamp padi nk.Here we have used reflection mode of Fourier-transform IR image system,the stamp mark formed by the 14 typesd ifferentbrand ofred stamp pad ink were tested.Satisfactoryresults havebeen obtained and the purpose of distinguishing in different manufacturers and places of production has been achieved.This method was rapid,accurate,impersonal and nondestructive.
