Flooding-Attack Defense based on Campus Network Flow Detection

DDoS attack now becomes the formidable enemy of campus network security. Aiming at the actual situation of digital campus and from operation and maintenance of the data center servers,this paper proposes a method based on the campus network traffic monitoring data center servers,thus to cope with DDoS,and with no additional hardware running cost,to achieve the direct traffic-oriented flood attack detection and prevention. This method plays a protective role in network maintenance and server network security.
