Study on Onset Time of Acute Aortic Dissection

Objective To investigate the regularity of onset time of acute aortic dissection(AAD),and to provide the scientific evidence for the time nursing,so as to guide the predictable nursing.Methods From January 2002 to December 2011,287 AAD patients were analyzed by circular distribution,according to the sequence of admission.Results There was a significant centralized tendency in the onset date of AAD.AAD often occurred from September to February in the following year,with a peak in December.The similar centralized tendency was also verified in the onset time of AAD.AAD usually occurred from 6:17 to 15:27,with a peak in 10:52.Conclusion The onset of AAD has a marked seasonal and hourly differences.The nursing strategies based on the time pattern of onset of AAD can lower the incidence and mortality of AAD.
