Applications of Orthogonal Daubechies Wavelet Packets on Interval

By using wavelet-Galerkin methods,a numerical example is present to slove the Fredholm integral equation with the wavelet packet on the interval.Comparing with the solution by the wavelet,the coefficient of the equation with wavelet packet is less than the coefficient with wavelet,and more stable.At the same time,the result of the experiment demonstrates that the matrix obtained by using the orthogonal Daubechies wavelet packets to decompose is more sparse.
