HTN-based Supply Chain Optimization Strategy

HTN(Hierarchical Task Network)planning has the power of representing and decomposing task network as well dispatching the subtasks,and also can accomplish the tasks network. HTN planner can do the planning work on complex problem efficiently via constraint rules and conflict resolution. This paper discusses how to apply the HTN planning to supply chain optimizing. Combined with Multiagent system,it presents an HTN model of inventory management business in supply chain,and indicates the methods and constraints used in decomposing the tasks as well describes the relations between Agents in dispatching the tasks. An application instance is given in the end.
