An Empirical Study on the Evolution of Web Influence of Unexpected Mass Disturbances

Taking representative events of mass disturbance as research object,this article analyzes the amplification and attenuation effect in space by computing the fluctuation of Internet users' post number.The result shows that the web influence of unexpected mass disturbances is undulatingly diminishing over time and that the course of the evolution consists of five stages: the window period,peak,trough,recession and incubation.The conclusion of this paper does not fit with other articles in which the conclusions are based on theoretical deduction.This paper also interprets the network information management strategy on the foundation of the research.
