Inductive loop detector is an equipment using, electric vortex detecting principle to detect vehicles. However, the detector has the weakness of being liable to be influenced by electromagnetic interference. The fire system on vehicle is a powerful wide band electromagnetic interference source of the inductive loop detector. Finite integration technique has been applied in this paper to simulate the radiated interference of the fire system on vehicle to inductive loop detector. The result of simulation indicates that the radiated electric field coming from the fire system on vehicle has severe effect on the normal work of the inductive loop detector, without considering the shielding function of the metal shell of vehicle and the fire system just on the loop. Therefore some shielding measures should be taken for the fire system on vehicle.
