A SIMPLE AND EFFECTIVE ULTRASHORT TERM LOAD FORECASTING METHOD

A simple and effective method for load forecast in the next 10 minutes is presented in this paper. Therunning record indicates that the forecasted data are accurate, and the method is generally suitable for ultrashortterm load forecast. Now the method is used on-line in General Dispatching Bureau of North China Power Group(NCPG) and in that of North East China Power Gropu(NECPG).
