Multirate Parallel Algorithm for Dynamical Simulation of Stiff System

A multirate parallel algorithm for dynamical simulation of large scale stiff system in the environment of general computer network was investigated.Based on the network which consisted of several loosely coupled computers, the overall system was partitioned into smaller sub-systems, and then the simulation of each sub-system was performed on a single computer within the network.The accuracy and computational speed-up of the parallel simulation depend crucially on appropriate partitioning of overall system, data communication strategy between each computers and synchronization mechanism of each sub-system integrations.
