Establishment of a continuous product portfolio model

A statistical model in case of a continuous product portfolio was established.On base of experimental data,two mathematicmodels were set up respectively with stepwise regression and partial least square regression.The models'quality was discussed throughanalyzing explicable capability of the models.It was pointed out that for a continuous product portfolio,modeling with PLS method canreflect maximum information of variables;eliminate noise;adaptive variables and result with a matematic model that indicates realcharacteristics of objectives and accords with practices.
