Review on research & development of IT evaluation theory

Based on a review on IT(information technology)evaluation theory,four phases in context of computer development: germination,development,integration and forecast were identified.Research background,characteristics and key results of each phase to show the whole evolution process of IT evaluation theory were surveyed and the future development trend of IT evaluation theory was predicted.Current IT evaluation studies were classified into several mainstream areas to explain the multifaceted aspects of IT evaluation.Some suggestions to future IT evaluation research were also provided.
