Application of Wavelet Denoising to Radiographic Image Processing

In digital radiographic(DR) testing, noise is an important factor that affects the precision of the faint flaws in image. On the basis of analyzing the source and the effect of noise, wavelet denoising method was proposed by the comparison of several denoising methods. Experimental results showed that the approach could denoise and retain faint flaws effectively.
