Construction of Editorial Departament Local Area Network

A local area network based on Windows95/98 was constructed for editorial departments. It is a peer to peer network. The authors introduce the design idea, hardware configuration and operating guide of it. The local area network has a simple constitution, a good operability and practicality. The construction of the network can improve management level of the editorial departments, and lay a solid foundation for the modernization of scientifical and technological periodicals.
