Survey of Searching Strategies of Web Spiders

Much recent years research has done on finding efficient strategies to visiting the Web in the domain of Topic-Specific Search Engine. This paper categorizes Web spiders searching strategies based on the way they evaluate and predict the links obtained form Web. The principle and character of each class of searching strategy is described and the advantage and disadvantage is discussed. The future directions and some researching problems are also addressed.
