Investigated in this article is the intelligent isolating and exchanging strategies for heterogeneous computer's network A new concept,Isolating Exchanging Device(IED)is proposed from which three kinds of calculating models are established,the trusteeship model,tunnel model and transferring model Based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology,further discussed are the self adaptive and the self organizing intelligent models for IED Some of these models have been prototyped in labs,others have been applied successfully in several projects The response from labs and project sites are exhilarating
