Honeypot Technology in Active Defense

Abstrcat As an active safe defense technology,the Honeypot is introduced into the network security domain.In order to obtain more information of hackers and their attack technology,its value lies in the hope to be attacked and threatened.In this paper,the definition of honeypot and honeynet itself was discussed,including the function,structure and implementation technology that are embarked form the Honeypot elementary theory.Finally,Honeypot's characteristics were analyzed and the future development was forecasted.
