Translating Animate Dynamic Text

Based on the Chinese text theory by Wangjing and English comment system composed of both finite comments and non-finite comments the paper tentatively proposes,the paper works on the translation of Chinese animate dynamic text by comparing and analyzing Chinese comment clauses(CCs)and the comments of their English versions.At last,the paper comes to three conclusions:Firstly,identifying the character of text is of primary importance in CE translation;secondly,the division of segments and distinguishing primary CCs from secondary CCs within the segment ensures idiomatic English comments by using complex comments so as to achieve the theme of the text and to follow iconicity of order;and lastly,text can be a practical translation unit in CE translation.
