The Application Research of Hough Transform Algorithm on Circle Center Vision Positioning

Hough transform algorithm is often used to detect lines and circles.The traditional HT algorithm can’t meet the need of practical application on fast circle detection for its slow algorithm operation.A new improved HT algorithm of fast cirlce detection is presented by analyzing the location relationship of points on the circle and their neighborhoods,the convexity-concavity of the circle edge and the cirlce center direction can be judged,and the circle center point can be obtained by accumulating the circular arc center lines.With the use of new algrorithm on liquid atomatic filling system,the fast recognition and position on bunghole is realized by the vision system,the rapidity and validity of the new algorithm is verified.
