Design and Application of Open Communication Model in SCADA

According to the current state of more device types,no united standard and hard to interconnection in SCADA,a design scheme for open communication network is presented.Its modularized frame is easy to realize the communication between different devices in isomerous environment.As an example of transformer substation SCADA,this paper gives a communication mechanism based on Modbus and CAN protocols between SCADA and RTUs.The practical effects show that the design has a strong reliability and real-time.
