The Summary of Explicit Congestion Control

With the rapid development of Internet,high speed network with large bandwidth-delay product becomes common.Because of the intrinsic limitation in the protocol design,TCP congestion control is unable to deal with the congestion problems in the high speed network ideally.Free from the constraint of the TCP,explicit congestion control protocol resolves the congestion problems efficiently.This paper presents the principles of the explicit congestion control, and describes three explicit congestion control protocols named XCP,EMKC and JetMax.
