The Design and Implementation of a New Traffic Generator

Traffic generator plays an important role in measuring the network performance, simulating the performance of new system design and experimenting with alternative design. In this paper, we present a new method to realize the traffic generator based on the real traffic models in the network. The new traffic generator not only generates traffic according to the behavior of the real network traffic but also is easy to use. We also describe the implementation of the software of the traffic generator in this paper.
