Discussion on treatment measures for collapsible loess foundation of homogeneous earthfill dam

Based on the actual case of the construction of a homogeneous earthfill dam built on the left bank of the Yellow River,the homogeneous collapsible loess is analyzed and studied;in which the laboratory test on the field sampling is compared with the theoretical calculation and the result shows that both the data are basically consistent.Furthermore,the later detection is made and the result is also consistent with that from the test concerned.Therefore,the tamper vibration is to be reasonable for the treatment on the loess.
