Novel Symbol-synchronization Algorithm for DVB-T Receiver

In DVB-T(Digital Terrestrial Video Broadcasting) system,there is high calculating complexity in conventional ML(Maximum Likelihood) algorithm,although the calculating complexity had been reduced in improved MC(Maximum Correlation) algorithm,the estimation performance also had been reduced.To reduce the calculating complexity and improve the estimation performance,this paper,based on the ML algorithm,presents a novel symbol-synchronization algorithm of which calculating complexity is very low.In Rayleigh channel,the performance of the new algorithm is supper to ML and MC.
