A SIFT-based automatic image mosaic algorithm for fire reconnaissance

In this paper,a SIFT-based automatic image mosaic algorithm for fire reconnaissance is proposed.Firstly,the fire scene images are synchronously collected by the fire reconnaissance robort,and the keypoint of them are find out by the SIFT decomposition.Then the transform matrix are estimated by the keypoint's effective matching.And finally the mosaic image is generated by smoothing algorithm.The simulation result indicates that the proposed method has high quality image mosaic results and is useful for commander to make better and faster decisions.
