Key techniques of precise GPS height surveying

The tropospheric refraction and GPS height transformation are the two important factors that influence the accuracy of precise GPS height surveying.The estimation methods for tropospheric delay,such as the single parameter method,the stochastic process method and the piece-wise linear method,are introduced.The analysis of an example shows that the piece-wise linear method is better than the other methods.Based on the conicoid fitting method and the neural network method,which are usually used for transforming GPS height,the mixed method,which combines the two methods,is put forward.An application example shows that the mixed method is good for transforming GPS height to normal height.
