Power Allocation for Hybrid Forward Cooperative Communication

Liang Lieyong · Video Engineering · 2012

In order to maximize the power consumption,a hybrid cooperative communication power allocation scheme based on outage probability constraint is proposed. The appropriate relaying protocol is performed according to the decoding results of destination and relay node, which combines the merit of amplify-and-forward(AF)and decode-and-forward(DF).The transmitted power of source and relay node are obtained by graphic and numerical analysis under satisfying the outage probability constraint. The simulation results show that the proposed power allocation scheme can achieve about 2.8 dBm less power than the equal power allocation under the same outage probability constraint.
