Evaluation and Analysis on the Performance of VMware Virtual Machines
Zhiyi Tan · Mobile Communications · 2015
After servers virtualized, virtual machine(VM) has computing capacity, network access capacity and disk I/O capacity. But there is no definite evaluation conclusion that how much there is difference between these capacities and physical machines. It prevents OM staffs from transiting some important and large service platforms to the cloud. We try to carry out comprehensive evaluation and analysis on the performance of VMware VMs in different service scenarios by means of Load Runner and IOmeter software.
