Orthogonal least squares based wavelet networks in system identification

Single scaling wavelet frame theory is used to build up an initial wavelet network. ROLS method is proposed to orthogonalize the wavelets to realize parametric estimation on-line. Then OLS based structure identification method is given to handle multi-dimensional problems by eliminating those wavelets with least contributions. The results of experience demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed methods.
