DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF QUERY OPTIMIZATION BASED ON SIMULATED ANNEALING ALGORITHM

An algorithm of query optimization based on simulated annealing algorithm is proposed. A model of simulated annealing algorithm on the state space of query strategy is constructed to optimize the join operator. The experimentation indicates that the execution strategy derived from our algorithm is better than that derived from traditional algorithm.
