GIS Web Processing Service security mechanism based on WS-Security

A service architecture with security mechanism for WPS was proposed based on WPS specification,WS-Security specification and Axis Rampart module in this paper,and a kind of SOA PMessage with security information and geospatial data was constructed.It's been verified by a test that this WPS security architecture could meet the requirements for authentication,message integrity and confidentiality.Besides,in line with OGC(OpenGIS Consortium) specification,the architecture has good scalability,portability,openness,interoperability and usability.So,it could be used to guarantee the security of geospatial information processing that are using OGC specifications,and would lay the foundation for the popularity of WPS applications.
