Service Type Based Dynamic Spectrum Choice Scheme for Cognitive Radio
Zhong Ming · Journal of Chinese Computer Systems · 2011
With reference to the relationship between the time required by different cognitive services and the available length of idle time slot in authorized spectrum hold by different primary users,a service type based dynamic spectrum choice scheme had been introduced.Since spectrum channel with different length of idle time will be selected by different cognitive services according to their service time, our scheme can achieve better performance than most traditional schemes.Extensive simulation results show that the proposed scheme can reduce the collision probability and improve the utilization of available spectrum resources efficiently.
