The design procedure of automatic frequency control (AFC) system of millimeter wave radar and how to guarantee as design specifications are discussed. The design features of control circuit and volume control oscillator (VCO) of AFC system are taken as the discussion emphasis. The result shows that, by using searching tracing AFC system, the frequency sieze region can be expanded and the frequency tracing accuracy improved. [WT4”HZ]
