Through to the urban underground utilities information management characteris tic, the present situation and existence some questions has carried on the analy sis; discussed established the urban underground utilities information managemen t system using the UGIS platform is the necessity and the application prospect, makes a preview for the development of spatial database model in the future, and has produced author's suggestion.
