Design of Dimmable Electronic Ballast Based on DALI Protocol

Aiming at the shortcoming that many ballasts could only simulate DALI protocol by using software, a design scheme of dimmable electronic ballast based on AT90PWM2 micro-controller was given,and the hardware and software design were introduced. The AT90PWM2 with hardware interface which obeyed DALI protocol for the ballast industry was used in the design scheme, the ballast could operate more reliable,and programming became more convenient.
